
(Claudia Tanner/ iNews) — Oli, who did not want his surname used, says the past year during the global pandemic has really shaken his mental health.
“Before lockdown, if you’d have told me I would have most of a year off school I’d have thought that sounds amazing,” said the 17-year-old. “But it was the toughest time of my life.”
The college student said said lack of structure and isolation from friends send him into a depression. He also found there to be many distractions at home to study effectively and was worried about passing his GCSEs. (…)
