Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Is CME a walk-in clinic?

However, every Tuesday we have a woman’s health walk-in clinic with our gynecological nurse Michelle Belliveau. She also does STD testing and PAP tests.

Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

If you don’t have a family doctor to get one, you can go to any walk-in clinic in your area, or we might be able to help you by having you see one of our family doctors.

Are you taking new patients?

All of our specialists are taking new patients. For family doctors, we have a few spots available, but that can change as practices get full. If our family doctors’ practices fill up, we can put you on a waiting list and call you when we have some new openings.

Do you charge to see a doctor?

All visits with the physicians are covered by Quebec Health Care Insurance (RAMQ). We do offer private labs and ultrasound imaging at a cost, but you can also get them done at any hospital or CLSC for free with your health insurance card.

Can I see a physician if I don’t have Quebec Health Insurance?

You can see a physician even if you don’t have Quebec Health Insurance, but a fee would apply. The fee varies depending on type of visit and specialty. If you are covered by health insurance from another province, you will pay a fee but can be reimbursed by your province’s health care plan. The fee correlates with Quebec’s rate structure.

Is there a charge for opening up a dossier or file?

It’s illegal in Quebec to charge for that service.

Can I book appointments online?

We cannot offer the online booking service at this time.

Please call 514-788-2888 to book an appointment.

Do you follow pregnancies?

We can, however, refer you to other clinics and physicians that are taking new patients.
