An important notice to all CME patients

with No Comments

There is nothing more important than your and your family’s health. That is Clinique Medicelle’s priority, too.

Therefore, we have put the following measures in place:

Appointments are only virtual, we will see only essential cases.

Due to COVID-19, Clinique Medicelle will be contacting patients who have appointments and who will be affected by our new protocol:

  • a. Patients who have travelled, or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19, or experience any of the symptoms (cough, fever, runny nose, shortness of breath and GI issues) or are elderly (over the age of 65) and have compromised immune systems will not be permitted to come into the clinic. Either the appointment will be postponed or, if possible, they will be given a phone consultation.
  • b. All our appointments, when permitted, will be done via telemedicine or phone consultation.
  • c. Only essential appointments will be able to see the doctor at the clinic BUT only as long as point a) does not pertain to them.

Very shortly, we will be offering telephone consultations without an appointment on a first-come, first-served basis via telephone with our family doctors.

We are not testing for COVID-19 at our clinic. If you believe you might have it or were exposed to it, we will gladly arrange a phone consultation with one of our doctors.

Please know that limiting the number of visitors is a temporary measure and is being implemented to safeguard the health of all who come to Clinique Medicelle. For essential appointments, we will also be screening patients and those accompanying them at the entrance to our clinic.

One final note: We are asking any of our patients that have travelled or who experience any of the symptoms or were with people that were sick to please quarantine themselves.

We will continue to provide updates when applicable.

Stay safe. Be well.
